Jake Gyllenhaal Will Star In and Produce Heist Thriller 'Cut & Run'

Jake Gyllenhaal has signed on to star in and produce Cut & Run, a film about thieves that use high-powered speedboats to rob superyachts. Plans go awry, however, when the thieves "steal the wrong thing from the wrong group of people," per the project's logline.New Republic Pictures has won the right to the movie's spec script, which was written by John Glenn, in a bidding war.
